Shannon comes from a long line of crafty women, mostly sewers and crocheters. Learning the basics from her mother, she merged her love of sewing, textiles, and vintage. When she is not working on Glean, she teaches children to sew in her local area.

Nadine started a hair accessories line after receiving a sewing lesson from Shannon. She merged her line with Glean in fall of 2013. When she's not "glean-ing" she's cooking, reading the New Yorker, and hanging out with her husband and dog.
